The Mission
It is the task and purpose of Honor Flight Cleveland to pay tribute to U.S. veterans who served our country by providing them a safe and memorable all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials honoring their service.

World War II 1941-1945
World War II was the biggest and deadliest war in history, involving more than 30 countries. Sparked by the 1939 Nazi invasion of Poland, the war dragged on for six bloody years until the Allies defeated Nazi Germany and Japan in 1945.
Korean War 1950-1953
The Korean War was the first major conflict of the Cold War as the Soviet Union supported North Korea and the United States supported South Korea. The war ended in 1953 with the signing of the Korean Armistice Agreement.
Vietnam 1954-1975
The Vietnam War was the prolonged struggle between nationalist forces attempting to unify the country of Vietnam under a communist government and the United States and South Vietnam attempting to prevent the spread of communism.
