Guardian Training – Avon Lake

Training sessions are typically offered every month during our Honor Flight season. These are rather informal and more of a discussion, so no need to stress about the final exam. In an attempt to be as convenient and accommodating as possible, we offer training at one of three Cleveland area locations.

Avon Lake, OH – Mondays

At the American Legion Post 211.
Bill “Snoopy” Brokop will facilitate the training session.

Mentor, OH – Tuesdays

At VFW Post 9295.
Charles McGibony will facilitate the training session.

Cleveland – Wednesdays

At VFW Post 2533.
Sean Ennis will facilitate the training session.

What to expect

Guardians are required to complete a training session prior to their flight. Only required to attend a single training session, regardless of how many flights they take.

• Review of a typical Honor Flight’s agenda
• Where to park & meet at the airport
• Answer any questions you may have
